For labs
Pathology lab software for labs in India
Brie Lab Portal is where your technician makes reports and sends them to patients on WhatsApp, and where you set up your tests, prices and letterhead and see how the lab is doing each day. It runs in your browser at labs.brie.in; Chrome works best.
What your lab gets
Reports with automatic flags
Search a test, panel or package, type the values, and Low, High and Critical flags appear as you type. Calculated values such as eGFR and ratios fill in by themselves. More about reports
Reports on WhatsApp
One button sends the patient a WhatsApp message with a View Report link. Resend it any time from Report History. Nothing is sent unless your technician presses send.
Analyzer integration
Brie Bridge on a lab PC brings results from your analyzers straight onto the report, matched by the sample number on the tube label. How machine integration works
Your letterhead and signatory
Print your logo or your own designed header and footer, with your pathologist's name, qualification, registration number and signature.
Test menu, prices and ranges
Switch off tests you don't do, set your price and turnaround time, adjust reference ranges for your machines, and add up to 200 tests of your own.
Bills and GST invoices
Make a bill of supply, or a tax invoice if your lab is GST-registered. Cash, UPI, card or cheque, printed on A5, A4 or a 3-inch thermal printer.
One patient, start to finish
- Find or register the patient by 10-digit mobile number. Families are kept together, so adding another family member is quick.
- Add the tests, with prices filled in from your test menu.
- Print a sample label if an analyzer will run the tube. Results arrive on the report by themselves.
- Enter or check the results. Flags, calculated values and bands such as Prediabetes for HbA1c appear automatically.
- Preview and finalize. The final PDF is locked and carries a QR code on every page.
- Send it on WhatsApp and print the bill.
Built so reports can be trusted
- Final means locked. A finalized report can't be edited or deleted. Mistakes are fixed with a correction that records the reason and prints "Corrected Report".
- QR verification. Anyone can scan the QR code on a printed report to check it is genuine. If the report was later corrected, the scan says so.
- One login, one person. The technician who released a report is named on it.
- Owner dashboard. Patients, reports finalized, reports still pending, how many went out on WhatsApp, and how long reports take, by day and by technician.
- The report reaches the patient's records. Each report is saved to the patient's Brie Health folder, so families keep their lab history in one place.
Questions lab owners ask
Do I need to install software?
No. Brie Lab Portal runs in your browser at labs.brie.in, and Chrome works best. The only installation is Brie Bridge, and only if you want analyzers to send results directly. The Brie team installs it.
Which tests are included?
Brie comes with a test library that you switch on or off for your lab. You set your own prices and turnaround times, and you can add up to 200 tests of your own.
Are the reference ranges ready to use?
Brie's ranges are a starting point. Your pathologist confirms or adjusts them for your machines and method, per patient group, and new reports use your ranges from then on.
Can I use my own letterhead?
Yes. Upload your logo, or a designed header and footer, and set who signs your reports.
How do patients get their reports?
Your technician sends a WhatsApp message with a View Report link. The report is also saved in the patient's Brie Health records.
How much does it cost?
